Jose - So far I've only seen your videos which have completely impressed me.
Do you have any other forms of media you would like to share with us?
Jay - I currently only film wise have Walking With Giants. I do create other forms of art, but they're mainly all physical art or theatrical based creations. I created Walking With Giants to bring people together, entertain people and to be a spring board into bigger projects that I could possibly create on the channel in the future. Walking With Giants will not always just be Mini Food. I've got much bigger plans for it.
Jose - Are you going to make like a mini workshop walking with giants where you make maybe like a table or a bookshelf?
Jay - You know what's crazy man, I actually had that exact idea a few weeks ago. I even have mini hammers and screw drivers and stuff ha ha. Yeah I may end up doing that eventually.

Jose - So, how would a 'mini' bio of you begin?
Jay - I normally just say "Hey, I'm Jay. I tell stories through my art." lol In all honestly I consider myself a storyteller... people have just always seemed to call me an artist. I'm pretty sure art just happens to be the voice I use for my stories.
Jose - Where are you based at the moment?
Damn, I have so many questions! When did you start? School? Inspirations? Go!!!
Jay - I actually roll as more of a nomad artist at the moment. I'm originally from California. I'm currently stationed around Vegas right now, but that will change. It's sappy, but I like to think the homes I know are the places I go (Sounds like a Dr. Seuss quote). I guess I started being an "artist" before I even knew what being an artist was. I used to consider myself a storyteller and art, film, music, painting, photography, ect. was just a voice to tell that story. That's how it comes into my head I guess and sometimes certain stories are better expressed through different mediums. I've been teaching myself, with the understanding that I was an artist, for about about 12 years now. The mini vlogging series, however, I didn't start until I filmed the first video. So I've only been doing those for about 2 months now. I've gone to several schools, but I've never really liked it. I just don't think you can put a grade on art. Art is expressive and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What's ugly in the world today, may be beautiful tomorrow. I'm not bashing on going to school or anything, I actually encourage it, but I feel that in todays world there is this idea that knowledge only comes from school, but that's not true. Some of the most successful people in the world never even went to school. I try to get inspired by everything. There's no reason to leave anything out. The main inspirations for the Mini Series though was more directed at old PBS Sesame Street cutaways, urban modern art and miniaturists. The musicians I work with on the videos definitely inspire me as well. Youtubers that inspire me would have to be Pewdiepie, Casey Neistat, and those Knox claymation videos. I also try to find inspiration from other miniaturists for this vlog. There are these people who carve sculptures on the tips of pencils, that's just amazing to me! Different cultures definitely inspire me for this and it's great because I'm developing an amazingly diverse community of supporters. If you'd like to check out more of the mini series here's a link. https://www.youtube.com/c/walkingwithgiants
Jose - Last question, what are your views on legalizing marijuana?
Jay - I feel that there is no reason that it should be illegal. There are so many benefits of marijuana, such as helping people in a great deal of pain or people who are sick. It should be used in moderation, legalized, and have an age restriction, just like alcohol or tobacco. The taxes you could place on marijuana could be used to help a lot of people as well. I just feel that we have a lot of people in the USA that are scared of change, especially changes like this. Marijuana is just a plant, no need to fear it!
Jose - My friend wants you to make a Lasagna Waking with Giants. I was thinking more in the lines of Pot Brownies!
